Intense treatments formally Redken Chemistry is an in-salon service that your Stylist customizes for your hair needs. A Redken Chemistry in-salon treatment can help repair distressed hair. Your Stylist can customize a treatment for you that can improve your hair in several ways… increase the strength of your hair, repair chemical or mechanical damage (like from blow dryers or flat irons), make dry hair soft again or unruly, frizzy hair more smooth.

History of redken

REDKEN™ Jheri Redding, a talented hairdresser and chemist, her client Paula Kent, an actress and model (thus the name "REDKEN") was inspired with three principles:

1) Protein technology (since hair is composed primarily of proteins)

2) An acidic pH of 4.5 to 5.5, complementing the natural pH of the hair and skin

3) Products recommended exclusively by licensed cosmetologists in professional salons.

REDKEN Chemistry System Treatments
The Chemistry System is a luxurious service that utilizes REDKEN's advanced technology & professional expertise to meet your individual hair care needs.

Using a unique set of formulations made with highly concentrated ingredients, the Chemistry System delivers an ounce of concentrated conditioner intense care whilst working with your hair to restore its natural pH. The entire process will take approximately 15 minutes.

We will shampoo your hair with the appropriate Redken shampoo. Then add an ounce of concentrated conditioner (your formulated shot). After 5 minutes we will spray a fabulous sealant that closes your hair cuticle trapping in all that needed moisture, strength, or protection. Rinse, sometimes apply an additional conditioner, and style at you desire!

Because of the ever changing trends in beauty and fashion we also use Kenra, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Aveda, S factor, Matrix, Nexxus, L'Oreal Professional, Avachi, and other leading names in the beauty industry for our finishing products. Official representatives and educators of many different companies instruct classes including product knowledge and trademark techniques. Guest cosmetologists and master cosmetologist instruct courses such as Hair Cutting Techniques, Styling Technique, Foiling, Hair Coloring and Color Correction.
